AHMEDABAD: Scania Commercial Vehicles India, a commercial vehicles and engines manufacturer, has delivered two Scania Metrolink HD 14.5 M coaches to Patel Inn Travels Pvt. Ltd, and H K Travels respectively.
Krister Thulin, director, presales and marketing, Scania Commercial Vehicles India, Vijay Kachalia, director, Navnit Motors, Meghjibhai Khetani, director, Patel Inn & Travels, Ahmedabad and Harji Samji Patel, H K Travels, Ahmedabad, were present on the occasion.
"With the delivery of four (4) Scania Metrolink coaches to Patel Inn Travels and HK Travels in Ahmedabad, we are moving closer to our objective of establishing strong presence in the north western region of India," said Thulia. Speaking about the bus, Thulin added, "Passengers are looking at more safe transportation solution and Scania Metrolink will comply with all these expectations with superior safety provisions, best in class comfort and new level of luxury features. In addition, the fleet operators will also benefit from the superior Total Operating Economy that Scania Metrolink has to offer".
Launched in February 2013, the Scania Metrolink range introduces highly reliable multi-purpose coaches for medium and long distance travel in the Indian market. The buses are already present in other states such as Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh.
